How I went from quietly creative to
helping people find their voice.
I’ve been chasing creativity since I was a kid. It all started with storytelling when I wrote my first book at thirteen (it wasn’t great, but it lit a spark). Since then, I've been chasing the flame of creativity -- writing novels, making music, shooting & editing videos, becoming proficient in design. My creativity took me through college, where I Iearned my BA in Professional and Creative Writing with a minor in Film Production from Central Washington University. And finally, my creativity led me to my career as a social media manager at multiple different jobs.
​My time running social media taught me an important lesson -- managing social media for other people is never as effective as when someone runs their own page. Only the owner of the page has the ability to truly build a community. And so, Watts Creative was born. For those of us who have to be on social media, it's vital that we build a social media that is honest, authentic, and prevents burnout.
